In Victorian jewellery, Diamonds were thought to represent Constancy, and were often worn for strength.
This delightful ring features a beautiful bright white star set diamond in it's centre, which has a great deal of life and sparkle! It appears to have had the shank replaced, which doesn't detract from the ring and makes it much more durable. The 'gypsy' style ring became most popular during the Victorian era, and this ring is a wonderful example of the style.
Stamped '18ct' on band, and has been tested positively as such.
This piece would make a stunning engagement ring, wedding ring, or worn stacked with a selection of vintage bands.
